COVID-19 Protocol & Travel Advisory

Republic of Korea has allowed international travel (in-bound and outbound) from April 1, 2022 with some sort of Covid restrictions. However from June 1, 2022, all travel restrictions and Covid curbs are totally lifted for in South Korea.

All travelers must provide a Negative COVID-19 PCR Test Result Certificate from a PCR test taken within 48 hours prior to departure date irrespective of their vaccination status. Fully vaccinated individuals (WHO approved emergency COVID-19 vaccine) are exempt from quarantine. These individuals must have been fully vaccinated for at least 14 days, but within 180 days, or have received a booster shot (third dosage). Non-vaccinated or individuals who have not completed three doses have to undergo a mandatory quarantine of 7 days. From June 8, 2022, unvaccinated travelers are also allowed to travel to Korea and not required to quarantine but subject to submit a negative PCR test.
